With a 43.5mm wide highly polished steel case, Breitling fans will feel at home with the shiny fit and finish. The textured dial will be available in black, silver, or gray. In addition to the rubber strap with portholes, there will also be a metal bracelet and leather or crocodile strap available to match the watch. This is up there with the true professional instruments that Breitling offers, but good enough for everyday use for any guy who likes the look of the watch. You can see that the rear of the watch has one of those famous turbine engravings that Breitling watches are known for. Pretty awesome if you ask me. I would guess price is about ,000 - ,000 soon.

In addition to the t6c Red Arrow, the t3c Black Arrow will be released soon. The new t3C is to be a bit less expensive and doesn't have quite as many functions. It still has all the basics and can be connected with the heart rate monitor, which is one of the most important parts of the training optimization equation. Both of the watches will be available this month. Both the t6c Red Arrow and t3c Black Arrow are supposed to be improvements on the current models that are out there in celebration of the connection with the International Triathlon Union. To be honest, I don't have all the information about comparing the new and old models, but the new ones will have a few new things. Look out for more detail in the future or check out Suunto.com.
While Bulgari has arguably been at the forefront of high fashion watches as jewelry, with this line extension, the model above proves that they have so much more to offer. Instead of plastering the dial with ideal cuts, Bulgari is seducing women of watches with the added complication of the moonphase.
You'll notice that the metal bracelet is Sinn's five link steel bracelet that it tends to use on it's higher-end watch models, and the thick leather strap has a nifty looking attached plate with the Sinn logo on it. With a thin bezel, the watch features an internal rotating bezel that is turned via the crown located at the 10 o'clock position. The internal rotating bezel is highly functional and something I have never seen before in this style - with Arabic numeral indictors for each minute. Very precise and a look that I like. You then have the indicators (Arabic for every other number) for the UTC hand as well, that while visible - don't seem to get in the way. Sinn "guarantees" high visibility and the luminant-covered hands contrast well with the galvanized black watch face. The little "Ar" indicator means that the face is filled with argon gas - part of a special system to keep the inside of the watch free from moisture, and running smoothly in almost any climate condition, and under all types of pressure conditions. Further assisting the moisture free zone of the watch is a moisture absorbing capsule in the watch indicated by the other little icon above the "Ar" on the watch dial.
Curiously enough, Breitling went ahead and gave the watch a rubber diver's strap. Something that for me is always a big "no no" with gold watches (most of the time). No doubt leather straps and metal bracelets will be available. The functions of the special Superquartz have always been impressive, but all must be operated via the single crown that is pushed, pulled and turned to operated the functions. They include a minute repeater, chronograph, timer, second timezone, and alarm. The Superquartz is an extremely accurate quartz movement that has further been Chronometer certified. Another little qualm I have is that they changed the style of the hands. The minute hand always had a counter weight, but the hour hand did not, but now they both have it. Am I being too conservative or did the original design just look more interesting and functional. While there are lots of design merits to the new 2009 Breitling Aerospace it just ends up looking like another generic Breitling watch with the Aerospace name and look to it. I will wait for the titanium version when ever it arrives to make the final judgment on this new look.
The rooms where the watch makers sit is always headed by a leader - who sits in the back. The room leader is a more senior level watch maker who is there to answer questions and over see work. These leaders are not only there to ensure that the output is as planned, but to mentor the more junior members of the team. You can see from the pictures that the rooms are neatly organized, and have large open windows as to not make anyone feel stuffy. The rooms are kept small on purpose (I saw no more than 20-30 people per room), as to enhance the level of team work and cohesion as everyone is there to focus on a common goal. It is also important to communicate what everyone is working for. One feature of this ideal was how the watch making rooms were decorated, with framed images of watch movements or pieces there of. As if saying to the people in the room, "remember what you are working for, and remember that they are treasures fit for wall decoration and to be framed." It was a nice touch, and I thought it charming to at least see people proud of their work.
Rocking in at a solid 40mm diameter, the black PVD coated steel case is beyond anything I could have dreamed of for a hott women's watch. RSW offers the dial plates in black, grey, or white, depending on how much of a statement you are willing to make. I have only seen the black on black model, and so far that's enough for me. I'm in love.
Something about the fact that the dial itself will show time on other planets leads me to believe it is possible that the face of the watch will not necessarily be benthic in theme. Perhaps the movement is considered the ocean, while the face is akin to the sky. We will have to wait for more images before coming to more conclusions about the watch. Here are some words from the watchmaker:
These aren't quite on par with European tourbillon movements in terms of performance, construction, or accuracy, but they are much cheaper. The SG3824 (without the moon phase) is ,600.00 and the SG3826 moon phase is ,999.00. These aren't cheap prices by any means, but you can't get a European tourbillon based movement watch for under ,000 (average price of ,000 - 0,000). Like I said earlier, 70% of the quality for 30% of the price (or some other ratio that communicates the same idea). Having said that, the designs aren't half bad. There is unmistakable Asian art and architectural influence in the designs of the two watches, especially in the face and case construction. Looking closely at the watches you can't tell that things are not quite as finely milled or cut as in European watches, but it is pretty good. It will take a while - if it happens at all - for Chinese and other Asian high-end watches to catch up with European watch making standards that have been set for decades, though this is a good step in that direction.
Flower Petals and Diamonds and Rubies... What else would you want your watch to be made up of?
Inspired by a compass, the outer most disc rotates the hours, and with meticulous care and precision, the minutes are then also displayed. Mimicking the 4 points of a compass, the seconds disc rotates with a grid of four lines, suggesting the seconds as they pass. The pink gold "monitor" in the center of the dial opening is positioned to read the exact time, from hour - to minute - second. Such synchronization is hard to replicate, as you must well know.
A watch will carry you to next phase in your life, and reflect a person's personality better than any other accoutrement. Based on their tastes and style, gifting someone with a watch is one of the most lasting, thoughtful gifts to give.
Emerging British luxury watch maker Bremont recently announced their first diver’s watch. This is an important occasion for each ‘active’ watch brand. Having at least one solid diving watch is a positional and status signifier. Sort of like saying that the company is not serious about its theme unless it has a functional diving watch. Though the brand is based in England, all watches are produced in their atelier in Biel-Bienne Switzerland.
Lastly, my Globemaster is number 136/500. That's it. Talk about exclusivity. Fred, the owner, answers his own phone, writes his own emails and stands by his word with a two-year warranty, a third generation watchmaker in his employ, and a beautiful presentation in a wooden, lined box with hand-written warranty card. Simply purchasing this watch felt like an experience from the days when service and quality were paramount. The timepiece itself continues that feeling.

So far, this is one of my favorite Moonphase models for women. I'll leave all "lunar" lady allusions out of here, not the forum, but that thought always lurks in the back of my mind when I see women's moonphase timepieces.
